At its Annual Conference in May 2019, Card Connection recognised the contribution of some of its key staff. Chalking up 15 years with the business were Creative Manager Carrie Clatworthy and Senior IT Technician Gus Rey. 

“Carrie has made a massive contribution to the huge strides our product ranges have made over the years,” explains Kelly Courtenay, Card Connection’s Creative Director, “Whilst Gus has helped implement a revolution in how the business and it’s franchisee network uses technology.” Marking their 10 years with Card Connection were Designer Carla Brocklebank and also Sales Support Supervisor, Becky Ely.

“Carla is a key member of our in-house design studio where the artwork for the vast majority of designs flows from,” said Card Connection Managing Director, Michael Johnson. “During the same period, Becky has helped oversee the expansion of our National Account base and these days she has a particular focus on our Irish business.”

Johnson is rightly proud of the staff retention record at the company’s head office in the picturesque market town of Farnham, Surrey. “It hopefully demonstrates that our staff are happy and motivated. From a business point of view, it’s a crucial bonus, as their massive combined knowledge and experience is key to the continued success of our business.
