We are excited to introduce our chosen winner of the competition to design a birthday card,  Claire Brown who is a  first year Graphic Design and Illustration student at the University of the Creative Arts in Farnham.

Claire Brown was the designer behind the winning entry, congratulations to Claire!

Claire used some fantastic mark-making and colours to create some of the imagery in her design which we felt brought something different to our own range.

Last week, Claire was invited to come and visit our creative department and see her design get set up for print and learn more about the next stage of the art working, finishing and file preparation process.

Claire spent the afternoon with our designer Debra Hodgson who explained how Claire’s design will fit into our range model line and all the other aspects that need to be considered before the design can be launched as part of the Card Connection product offering.

It was great to get Claire involved so that she could see the next stage of the journey for her design and learn more about the overall production process and see where ‘all the magic happens’.
