Coronavirus – Royal Mail confirms Mother’s Day cards and gifts are safe to post home

Royal Mail is reassuring people that they should not be concerned about posting Mother’s Day presents, as Public Health England says coronavirus Covid-19 cannot survive for long on objects such as letters and parcels.

Posting home presents is a safe way to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, in light of the Government’s new advice against non-essential contact with others and its promotion of ‘social distancing’.
Whether Mother’s Day or ‘just to say hello’ – send a card today and brighten up someone’s day!
