October saw Card Connection Head Office staff come together to hold their latest charity fundraising event A Feast For The Senses in aid of The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
The charity was put forward by Senior Sales Support Controller James Mattingly, who also organised the event.
Various activities were created in order to challenge the staff to use all five of their senses; a ‘guess-the-scent’ game, a touchy-feely mystery box, a pin the tail on the guide dog activity and a ‘Guess the Intro’ music quiz. Staff also kindly donated some delicious home-baked cakes.
As you can see, everybody really got stuck into things and had fantastic time
raising money for this good cause!
It’s a little-known fact is that the cost of raising a guide dog from birth to retirement is a whopping £55,000! So it was really fantastic to be able to raise an amazing £120 in just a couple of hours to help towards these costs with just a couple of hours fun.
